Abuse of press freedom?

On the column of Mr. Gonzalo Duque in this week’s Sunday Punch, he mentioned a comment on Mr. Pontaoe’s forum comments and I quote ”utter & irresponsible abuse of press freedom”. Mr. Duque, I don’t understand what ”abuse of press freedom” means. Please explain. What are the criteria to be met in order to give a final judgment that certain comments/ criticism/statements are of “abuse of press freedom”. A lot of people died for press freedom including Ermin Garcia Sr. and many more journalists almost every year in Philippines. Jose Rizal was executed because of his “abuse”? of press freedom. My father almost got killed in defense of freedom and killed in defense of freedom.
