A make-believe story to ponder

Presenting solutions in the forum by making them sounds like jokes is not funny. The future of our country and its people is not a joke. It must be taken seriously before it is too late. For all we know, we might be running out of time. Besides, it is very costly, more than one trillion pesos of taxpayers’ money annually.

You made me laugh because you need to be elected as president first. You need to start at a lower rank just like everybody. May anting-anting ka ba? Kaya ko naitanong kasi you reminded me of that guy who commanded Marcos to step down within 24 hrs because he is going to take over Malacanang and replace him as President.

By the way, you said in your previous posting, “When I was young and active in the church, I did not get a halo from any of the saints in heaven because all I did was pass the collection basket. For this reason, crusades, Armageddon and world damnation stuff, it is better to leave to the more knowledgeable.” That is exactly what people did around two thousand years ago. They left the world damnation stuff to the more knowledgeable Pharisees, Sadducees and Sanhedrin and look what happened. It was very unfortunate.

Contrary to what you said, I am not pro GMA the way you think I am mainly because I disagree with the way you treat Americans better than Filipinos by treating them with some kind of contempt and most especially the way you treat the President with total lack of respect accompanied by a feeling of intense dislike.

I am not pro futuristic president Fabella either. I am pro good Filipinos and after reading your postings, first impression makes it difficult for me to decide on your favor. First impression is really lasting. Thank you for calling me a friend anyway. It is an honor, Mr. futuristic president. How is that possible when you also said that my opinions are everywhere and not on a single idea where people like you can easily reach out to me? What? A president who cannot easily reach out to his people including someone he considered a friend? It does not make sense. You also said that you know where you are coming from and aware of where you want to be. We wish you all the best, Mr. futuristic president Fabella.

You reminded me of some politicians who want to serve the country so that they can help the poor and alleviate poverty. Some started at the bottom and some at higher government positions. They actually became part of the problems since the beginning of their political career instead of becoming part of the solutions. The end results are just broken promises to the people. Filipinos are learning the hard way but sooner or later we will politically mature just like other progressive countries. I hope and pray, it will be sooner not later.

Maraming kang dapat pakibagayan, mga kaibigan, mga kamag-anak, mga kapartido, AFP, mga botante, religious and political leaders, CBCP and other religious organizations, NGOs, local and foreign traders or businessmen and their business organizations, rich and poor people, activists, leftist at mga iba pa.

Contrary to what you said in your posting, you do not really need to go looking inside your closets for any of your skeletons. Do not worry, if you do not have any, somebody will be creating one or more for you complete with some funny jokes about you and your life to make the election more exciting. Teka muna, ikaw ba ay natural born citizen? Paano iyan, residence ka ng USA at pro Americans more than pro Filipinos?

Pagkatapos ng election, pag ikaw ay talo, puwede kang bumalik sa iyong mga accusations of lying, cheating and stealing but this time ay ikaw ang nadaya. As usual, you can use this as grounds for impeachment.

I wish you good luck Mr. futuristic president Fabella.

Just a make-believe story for us to ponder. Based on true story.
