My kind of presidency

Apart from obscene corruption which is the rule rather than the exception to which most of our elected and appointed officials are behaving themselves incontestably scampish crème de la crème, it is mind numbing to see the haughtiness, smugness and ease in how they exercise arrogance, deceit and obfuscation. I thought the idea of having advisers and cabinet secretaries is to help mold, engineer and implement sound policies good for the people and not to a party or individual. This present administration, anyone having the ability to bend the rules and wisely spin the wheels to obliterate the truth is their only ticket to acquiring wealth and becoming more famous. Lacking integrity and principles in their political lives, the followers become slaves of the totem pole. Everyone in this administration kowtows to her wishes without regard to decency and doing the right thing for country and people. How sad and pitiful that most politicians seemed to have succumbed to the almighty ‘mullah’.

The Supreme Court had already opined EO464 and 1017 illegal and unconstitutional. Yet officials continue to spin the wheel frustrating the people even more. This blatant exercise of dictatorial behavior in a democratic country if to happen in South America or in some parts of the African continent, these people would be burning up in the stakes today as with most of the country going in flames. Why our people can accept such behavior from elected officials willy-nilly is a good choice for entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Leadership in a futuristic president Fabella, former acting education Fe Hidalgo would have been held in high esteem not castigated publicly for telling the truth about schoolroom shortages. As president, I expect those whom I have appointed to help formulate policies to tell me what is wrong and what we need to do to correct it. I want a cabinet that do not come from the kissamyass universities so I in return need not kissayoass. Leadership under my presidency should be about doing the right thing and telling the people here is the list detailing every bills and cents. Kayabangan and kahangalan need not be the order of the day. What about you?
