GMA (Great Mafia Agency)

Edener Benitez Fabella
27 July 2006

By golly this (corruption) issue got my goat going again and how. Let me tell ya somethin’. My personal view is there are only two kinds of terrorists namely; cowboys in them that hills and second- government sanctioned busybodies. Let’s put it to a vote and see who of the two Twinkies deserves the turkey award.

Personally, and this is my belief mind you, I see terrorist groups such as the NPA rebels’ provenance in they way they execute their operations. By this I mean when the smoke clears, we could count the bodies. At times there are aplenty but for the most part dead men or individuals were marked for misdeeds in the past but we do not see genocide.

On the other hand, when government steals money and they steal by the millions just look what they did to the Marcos Swiss loot worth USD$700.00 millions? Isang ‘iri’ pa lang biglang nawala? Look what JocJoc Bolante of the now famous mega scam worth Php3 billion spent kuno on worthless fertilizers?

Sum it up and you know why OFW’s in Lebanon are in trouble. Why some of our countrymen live under bridges and young children opting for rugby to tide their hunger till the next coming of dawn.

Stated differently, government, in stealing millions and millions of limited resources thus depriving millions of Filipinos much needed care and stability, government is a heartless terrorist entity. No matter how they try to wiggle out of the equation, the misery they are causing on millions of people each time they steal their money, gives them the much deserved recognition and recipient of the turkey award.

I thought someone is playing a trick on me. Remember GMA (Great Mafia Agency) has new visions for the country and her aides are already claiming the money is available? Someone is saying a portion of her speech was mistakenly left out. She was to have said she found the Yamashita treasures and it will be the answer to our woes. I didn’t hear this part did you?

Corruption in the Phils.

Jeremias A. Carrera
27 July 2006

CORRUPTION IN THE PHILIPPINES: The Filipinos are not corrupt people, some of them, most especially those in power, are just corrupt and those people in power allowed it to happen or they themselves commit corruption that it became a norm. At one time, the law says plunder of P50 million is a heinous crime and punishable by death. There are lots of them who must be put to death, but no one was ever executed. There is no will to clean up the government, only the publicity to start stopping corruption and that’s it. Those rebels long time ago were doing a good job at executing those corrupt in government, but now are considered terrorists, and some people say they are now extortionists. To stop corruption means iron hand and no one has the stomach to enforce even those laws. The laws are being used by the corrupt for extortion. Why is it that most Filipinos in those countries that do not tolerate violation of laws are law abiding Filipinos or citizens or residents in those countries?
