GMA music to fight corruption

Ombudsman’s Way of Fighting Corruption: Music will be used to eliminate graft and corruption as reported in the Philippine Star today (June 27, 2006). If plunder of 50 million pesos was considered a heinous crime punishable by death under the recently abolished death penalty law did not have any effect to stop corruption, what stupidity or joke is this idea that MUSIC is the simple answer to stop graft and corruption. So, the solution is very simple really. Ate Gloria will just SING and DANCE while she does her LABADA or laundering. She is going to spend 1 billion pesos to wipe out insurgency, and 1 billion pesos to stop graft and corruption through MUSIC. Maybe the military will also use MUSIC by serenading the insurgents to surrender. I am not sure if the Philippines is really composed of FANTASY ISLANDS and some of the people are in state of fantasy, or just plain stupid to allow such BOLA-BOLA pronouncement. As I have stated in my previous postings, Filipinos are law-abiding people if the GOVERNMENT OF THE COUNTRY WHERE THEY ARE SITUATED DO NOT TOLERATE AND ENFORCES THE LAWS. Press Secretary Bunye came to Guam last week and invited the Filipinos especially the retirees about the opportunities and amenities that the Philippines can offer such as dual citizenship, real estate, health care, to luxury lifestyle with their retirement money. The problem is that Ate Gloria is only starting to clean up, always. You do not invite visitors if you are just starting to clean up your house, instead, have a clean house that is always ready to receive visitors. Immigration Commissioner Al Fernandez did an excellent job to entice the retirees by reducing the dual citizenship fee, but unfortunately the other cabinet members and Ate Gloria are busy doing something else. The retirement business will become a big global business and the Philippines is an excellent retirement community since top health care facilities is available, but peace and order, and graft and corruption are the problems that must be overcome first.
