The safest way to send money to the Philippines is thru the Philippine National Bank. The PNB had been tested and it can deliver the service that every dollar sending Filipino craves.

You don’t have to change your dollar to pesos in transmission. The only thing the bank requires to withdraw your dollar in its dollar form in the Philippines, is to have a dollar account with them. I think you need $100.00 dollars to open an account which you can close anytime you want. No fees involved. No questions asked. As simple as that.

The beauty of this set up is …. if you go on vacation and don’t want holding money in your purse/wallet, you can withdraw it when you arrive.

Or, with a relative (your mom or dad) in the account they can withdraw any monies sent without the hassle.

This is the most available way to retain the value of your dollar in its fluctuations because you don’t have to change your dollar in the going rate that day when you send the money. However, if I am not mistaken the max amount you can transmit in this dollar account is $10,000.00.
