Safe delivery by private companies

After my check was stolen in the mail and my entire USPS express mail envelop for immigration petition papers disappeared after it arrived in our PI mail, I send money now through door to door delivery just as you have mentioned. I had to send time sensitive documents like the photo of my mother in law reading the current paper for immigration petition through FEDEX, UPS, or LBC. It seems even anti-thief technology surveillance does not work in the mail.It looks like private companies are the answer to assure our money and documents are delivered safely. No substitute to corporate check and balance don’t you think Frank? No wonder the US Postal Service is a semi-quasi corporation that is second only to Japan in terms of mail delivery. Germany also went private.
Maybe the time has come when the mail could be profitably delivered by private sources.
