Equity in education, a fallacy

Men are definitely not created equal. Equity in education, taken for granted here in the US, is a fallacy in our dear native home. Advancing towards higher learning is and will forever lean towards the haves. The have-nots will sadly be left in the dark and will repeat the cycle generation after generation. Philippine government needs to invest in our youths. One only needs to walk the streets of Dagupan to see the dire need of educating the public. On any given day, children are roaming around looking like derelicts and sometimes worst, begging and scouring.
