If the City Health Office confirms that it is ok to have coliform bacteria in our rivers, I am not surprised at all because, not only in our city that we see meat, fish, eggs, prepared food being sold in the streets without refrigeration or warming device. Anybody can sell any kind of food without going through some kind of training for handling food safely. What’s wrong with our country? Do we just stick to our famous “Bahala na” saying? I still believe that if only we would all come together, we will make a big difference in our city. This Sunday Punch could be playing a big role.
