I’m congratulating Mr. Dino Zabala the administrator of Tondaligan Park in Bonuan, Dagupan City and also to the Philippines National Red Cross for the successful Oplan Zero Drowning during the holy week and Pistay Dayat. During the time I still live in Bonuan I open see a lot of people who are drowning especially during the hot summer season I hope these oplan zero drowning will continue forever not only during the time of Pistay Dayat but every time to protect the safety of the beachgoers from all the country to keep them from drowning. I hope that you will designate some lifeguards who are well trained and to trained them in some aspects of how to do CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation), personal survival techniques, first aid and the very important part is to put some floating line markers anchored on the bottom of the sea indicating the depth of the water where the swimmers allowed to swim like for the kids ages from 6 to 12 yrs not exceeding from 5 ft. and adult not exceeding from 7ft. if these thing will be strictly implemented there will be no more drowning and the most very important part is not to allow people drink bottled liquors, beers, and softdrinks down by the beach to protect the swimmers from any injury. To tell you the truth I’m a professional lifeguard trained by Canadian coastguard now working as lifeguard during the summer season in Canada. Here in Canada lots of don’ts when swimming on the beach. I hope your oplan zero drowning will be a success. Regards to all my kababayan in Dagupan and also to my kabarrios. Bonuan blue beach is very well known especially the bangus being exported here in Canada more good news and keep up the good work.
