To: LeaOne million dollars of a question is too much even for the Editor to give you an answer.
Let us play it down to a $64 dollar question. Shall we?
Asked the mayor Lim how he addresses the problem. He would tell you….. nothing. Why, because he got no control of what is happening in the rivers before his end.
The tributaries of the Pantal river that feeds it, are the culprits. What you see is only Dagupan, look beyond the horizon Lea, and you would see that the Pantal river is the bottle that collects garbage and the pollutants that were thrown haphazardly.
Mr. Jess Delfin, described the problem in his last post the pollution that deoxygenized the rivers.
Until you can have a working public policy on these tributaries to control their dumping, believe it Lea, it is exercise in futility.
One question we can ask the mayor Lim.
What happened to the river dredger that was supposed to remove the silt in the Pantal river that will allow the unrestricted flow of water into the sea?
Never heard about it since the purchase.
