Re: Jueteng is back! The comeback of jueteng is the harbinger of things to come. It means that this scourge…as the Bishop put it…. will stay with the Filipinos as social outlet for survival.
What happened to the law enforcers Lomibao and Purisima? As early as of last month, Governor Agbayani was singing his praises of Purisima that he was the right guy for the position? Looks like he turned tail and went south.
With the emergence of jueteng in the 3rd and the 5th districts something does not smell right. The only thing that will make it possible is the collusion of the mayors, congressmen and the law itself.
It’s possible that it reaches to the inner circle of power in the provincial government. That’s why jueteng cannot be eradicated completely. It survives anything thrown at it because it already created a life of itself…. the cancerous cells of independent blood distribution…. the poor people.
How about STL? Why Agbayani rejected the application in the first place? His reason there must consistent policy? How can you demand consistent policy when everything put on the table he refused to act on it?
Does the governor have his fingers in the jueteng’s cookie jar?
It comes to mind, here in Illinois, the previous governor…. Ryan…was convicted of all indictments. He was supposed to be crime and corruption busting governor. It was all a lie.
Agbayani not far behind?
