Please publish this comment under Punch Forum. I have a million dollar question to Mr Ermin Garcia and the rest of the readers. Here it is: "If you were the sitting mayor right now what would you do to solve the coliform problem of our rivers?" It would help big time if each of us would pitch in to solve it and quit whining. Instead, submit any possible solution to the mayor. After all, we all love Dagupan Bangus.

Thank you.

(EDITOR'S REPLY: This question is not fair to Mr. Lim, the "sitting mayor". At the same time, the issue so far with Mr. Lim is not how he should or can "solve the coliform problem" as you put it but rather, when will he act? He has not indicated he is doing or will do something. All that we've heard from him is to deny that the bangus industry is threatened and deny that water contaminated with coliform bacteria is hazardous to people and fishes. I think prodding the city mayor simply to act can hardly be considered whining).
