Councilor Tamayo,
Is that the best you can do, just “RELAY THE MESSAGE”? I say that’s a half-baked, half-assed and lousy B.S. response. Can’t you see that the comments about your proposal are demanding some corrective action? I think that you have underestimated the Forum readers, haven’t you? I would love to see “the comments of others” you’re waiting for, especially from someone in your defense.
How about introducing an ordinance that would penalize the people who are absent during the council meetings, for starters?
You still have to address my remarks about TRANSPARENCY, Councilor. Come on now, don’t be selective on the issues you respond to. Now that you have come to this Forum, don’t expect that the attention you have called upon yourself will just die down. You have called attention to yourself from well meaning individuals who would love to see Dagupan prosper. You can’t just “relay” messages. The people want PROACTIVE leadership in the city hall. ARE YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE THAT LEADER?
Again, Mr. Councilor, ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE or will just fade away wishing that you never had posted on the Forum? And yes, please enlist your fellow council members to respond to the issues being discussed. The readers await your response.
