Dateline: Santa Barbara Vendors apprehensive
What¹s up, Mrs. Mayor? To eject the vendors to make way with this supposed “big businessmen” is beyond me, beyond logic and beyond what is politically incorrect. It was a building that was started during the administration of Atos Bautista. When Carlito Zaplan took over, he demolished the old one and created a new one loan on top of a loan which became a boondoggle of mistakes which until now only the devil knows what¹s happening.
Tell us Mayor Jinky Zaplan, is it paid for? Is it just a political gamesmanship that the people of Santa Barbara were hoodwinked into believing that project was for the common good? The idea of replacing the old one was legit. The purpose was true to form but what lies within is the question.
All the stalls at the ground level were all rented but those in the upper floor were all empty which means to say they are not earning a damn thing. So, what is the logic to push the renters out? It there any plan to demolish the building again to accommodate what kind of foolish ideas you have in mind, Mrs. Mayor?
What can of businessmen that Carlito Zaplan is thinking about? I say this because he is the one who is calling the shots in the first place. Or, just finish your term which is your last and wait until Carlito takes over and let him decide for himself.
The Santa Barbara Public Market is like Malimgas of Benjie Lim or any town in Pangasinan struggling to survive in an incompetent management burden by loans and putting the people and town hostage to the bank.
These markets became rogue elephants out of control but to the mayors and anybody involved is money on a hoof.
