Mr. Dimagiba,
Thank you for your expert interpretation of the scene of disaster. I now believe that it’s the rain and rain alone only could have caused it. There was never any deforestation. And the coconuts? Sure they plant them in the hills and mountains too. And there never were any trees in those hills that could have prevented the mudslide from happening. Since there was never any deforestation, then no one could be held responsible for contributing to this disaster. The mudslide is by nature alone and there never was a human factor to it. I will now disregard all the news articles I have read that points to deforestation as a major contributing factor to the mudslide.
Thank you to point out that for the first time in my life I’d be man, a human being. Since you know me so well, I will look for and seek your opinion and advice in the future.
By the way, the U.S. had sent two Navy ships to help in the rescue efforts, and yes, that is even after Arroyo pulled out the token Filipino presence in Iraq. The mudslide victims deserve all the help available. I hope something good come out of this, like government officials to finally becoming responsible in performing their jobs
