Mr. Dimagiba,
It is very unfortunate that another mudslide had befallen upon the Philippines. Sure it is a disaster but I beg to disagree with you. I would say that it is not a natural disaster. It is a man made disaster that could not had happened if not for the greedy people bent on raping the natural resources for money and the government officials who are the enabling them.
I will also like to point out to you that your statement “America won’t let you down in this hour of need” has a hollow ring to it. For one, you yourself can’t commit America’s resources to rescue the Philippines. It’s good that America is helping but the bulk of the work should be done by the Filipinos themselves. This sounds petty but do you remember the token contingent of Filipino troops pulled out of Iraq by the incompetent Arroyo?
