Mr. Delfin,

I, too, have been to Singapore. I agree with you in that you cannot compare the Philippines with Singapore. Thank God!  People in the Philippines are not caned (beaten) with a bamboo rod for minor infractions of the law.  The Philippines does not throw people in jail or fine them for putting their cigarettes out or spitting in the street.  The list goes on and on in that semi-totalitarian state.  Thank god the Philippines is not like Singapore.
