There seems to be a pattern of substandard performance plaguing your publication. World class police stations? Now Mr. Velasco in his column citing a “top world urban planner who had carved(?) Alaminos into what Singapore and Ayala Alabang are now”. Nice try, Mr. Velasco. Have you ever been to Singapore? I have. Only an uninformed person would believe that Alaminos could compare to Singapore, in fact, I will bet that no city in the Philippines could compare to Singapore. Mr. Velasco, you have a pattern of writing your columns based on fiction. Is the Punch management powerless to at least check the veracity of your claims? It appears that you have a free reign and write as you please. There should be a Fiction column or part of this publication where one is free to write to their wildest imagination.
