Mr. Oriel,
The substance of an argument is not judged on lengthy gobbledygook. I just couldn't help but laugh at your postings about the supposed leaders of the Philippine politics, Ramos in particular. May I point out to you that NOT ONE, ZERO, NIL, NADA of the political leaders of the country is in politics for the benefit of the people they govern? I hope that you can tell me of a person in the Philippines who is really a leader who could lead the Filipino from the present mess the Philippines is in.
It could be true that Ramos had some noteworthy accomplishments and I pay my respects to him. What I can't admire about him are his failures as a president. But you are missing the point, Mr. Oriel. What had Ramos done as a president that had uplifted the Filipino people? For all I know, he and Enrile broke off from Marcos only to save their asses.
Ramos, Estrada and now Arroyo are all incompetents who do not have any business in being the leaders of 80 million Filipinos. Off course, this applies as well to the majority of political leaders who are in it just for themselves. Woe to the Pinoy, but it is he who elected these scoundrels. And I will say that a million prayers would not help the Filipino. The prayer rallies that these supposed leaders participate on? It is all a sham! The Filipino will have to take it upon themselves to effect changes to their lives, like smaller number of children per family perhaps?
