YMCA Karatekas shine in 2nd Invitational Cup

The YMCA Karatekas, composed of members of the Dagupan City Karate Training Pool, amassed a silver and two bronzes in the second Rexona Karate Invitational Cup held November 23 at Rodriguez Sports Center Center on Sumulong Highway in Marikina City.

Patricia Mencias, a junior student of the University of Luzon, accounted for the silver in the 14 to 15 girls kumite/sparring while Fidel Reyes, a Grade 5 student of Wonderland, captured the bronze in the 10 to 11 years old boys kumite and Zendrick Yadao, a sophomore at the Dagupan City National High School, won his own bronze in the 14 to 15 boys kumite.
