Jueteng' in Lingayen still on — Bartolome

LINGAYEN- ‘Jueteng’ is still alive and kicking in this capital town of Pangasinan! This was the message conveyed in a manifesto signed by concerned citizens here, including Vice Mayor Orlando Bartolome, a copy of which was furnished Archbishop Oscar Cruz of the Lingayen-Dagupan archdiocese chairman of the Krusada ng Bayan Laban sa Jueteng ( Jueteng-Free Philippines). He said the manifesto was prepared in reaction to the pastoral letter of Archbishop Cruz read in the church thanking the people for their support in the campaign against illegal jueteng in the belief that the illegal game has been stopped.
