Harsher penalties sought for delinquent stall-holders

DAGUPAN CITY-The chief of the city market division has suggested more drastic actions against delinquent stallholders at the city’s public markets to enforce the payments of stall rentals and raise collections from the city markets. Pedro Gomez, city market division chief recently wrote City Treasurer Roselita Alcanta seeking the imposition of harsher penalties against those who have consistently failed to pay rentals to the detriment of the city government.
