MOA implementing P1-B anti-El Niño fund signed

A DAY after the creation of the P1-billion anti-El Niño fund, Speaker Jose de Venecia and Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Secretary Leonardo Montemayor signed on Thursday the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ensuring post harvest facilities and mobilizing drought mitigating measures nationwide. "We have to unite, move now and move fast. Our farmers need post harvest facilities and related infrastructures to ensure enough food for our people in the wake of the El Niño phenomenon," De Venecia stressed as he thanked members of the House for their full support.
