P'sinan's new job fair set Nov. 29-Dec. 4

LINGAYEN — The province is set to hold a four-day Special Recruitment Fair, smaller version of a jobs fair, from November 29 to December 4 at the Narciso Ramos Sport and Civic Center. Alex Ferrer, head of the Provincial Employment and Service Office (PESO), said the annual jobs fair set this year was moved back to a later date owing to the economic difficulties affecting many industries which are laying off workers instead of hiring new ones. "But despite the difficulties, the administration of Gov. Victor Agbayani is committed to generate employment for the growing horde of job seekers, so we are coming up the four-day Special Recruitment Fair," he added.
