Sual fishport expansion set

LINGAYEN — The plan of the provincial government to convert the Sual Fishing Port in Sual town into an international transhipment port is gaining headway as the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) is responding positively to the proposed project. Gov. Victor E. Agbayani announced recently during the annual courtesy call by provincial and town leaders, non-government organizations and proviancial employees that soon, "there will be an expansion of the Sual Fishing Port which will make the already famous Pangasinan more popular in international markets." Lawyer Virgilio Solis, provincial administrator, said that they have coordinated with the PPA and its general manager, Juan Pena, has responded favorably.
