Bitstop's expands Internet Infrastructure

BITSTOP Inc. announced three infrastructure initiatives designed to attract IT related investments to the region: First, an additional 2048 kbps (E1) of bandwidth has been contracted from Mozcom Internet.  Second, Bitstop  Inc. has contracted for 40 additional 56k dialup lines by commissioning additional E1/R2 lines from both PLDT and Digitel.  Third, Bitstop Inc. will be implementing full BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) with all its 3 internet gateways. When these initiatives are implemented, Bitstop Inc will effectively have over 6000 kbps (3 E1s) of internet bandwidth to offer its clients. In addition, Bitstop Inc will have almost 200 dialup lines capacity to handle the mobile computing requirements of the province.
