Unwanted Badjaos told to go home

THEY fled from Basilan because of violence there. They migrated to this city to try their luck but the city government wants them back where they came from. But they have made a promise not to go back to their nativeland, no matter what. This is the fate that bounds some 17 families of Badjaos who came to this place for fear of their lives and properties in war-torn Basilan. Having experienced a violent life in the hands of Abu Sayyaf Brigade Members whom they accused of killing their spouses and other relatives, these Badjaos said they do not want anymore a repeat of their cruel life which, they said, was a nightmare.
