State mapping bill passed

A PROPOSED law to modernize a vital agency that provides valuable geographical information to the government, as well as private groups, was passed on third and final reading by the House of Representatives Wednesday night, reported Speaker Manny B. Villar. The modernization of the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), Villar said, will help the government come up with "reliable and accurate geographical information" vital to the country's growth and development
