Bengson lauds Nani for consistent stand

BUGALLON — Former Second District Rep. Antonio E. Bengson III lauded Friday Assistant Minority Floor Leader Hernani A. Braganza (Lakas, 1st district) for his consistent stand as an oppositionist and for speaking up on issues to preserve basic rights and the gains of two reformist administrations of Presidents Corazon Aquino and Fidel V. Ramos. Bengson, one of the most articulate Pangasinan solons who served in Congress said "with due respect to other Pangasinan solons, it's only Nani Braganza who is carrying the torch of Pangasinan in the halls of Congress." The former lawmaker is now back as chairman of the Bengzon law office in Makati City and farming here in this idyllic town.
